"IS ANYTHING TOO HARD for the LORD?"
- Genesis 18:14a -
Assurance is given in I Peter 1:3 that God has given us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness through a knowledge of Him. There simply will never be any aspect of anyone's life that God has not already foreseen and lovingly provided the power to overcome.
Jeremiah 32:27: "AH LORD GOD! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is NOTHING TOO HARD FOR THEE."
Jesus Christ's earthly ministry is proof that ALL can be delivered:
Matthew 4:23: "And he went about...teaching...and preaching the good news...and healing every disease and every weakness and infirmity among the people."
Acts 10:38: "Then Jesus of Nazareth, anointed by God with the holy spirit...went through the country helping people and healing everyone who was beaten down by the Devil. He was able to do this because God was with him."
Hebrews 7:25 states of Jesus Christ, "Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him...". The meaning of the word "save" in this verse includes "to make whole, keep safe and sound, rescue from danger or destruction, make well, restore to health".
So no matter what challenge you are facing, no matter what your circumstances might be - GOD is able and willing to bring victory to your life through the finished work of His dear Son. As the psalmist wrote of God in Psalm 119: "Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors." (v24), and "By your words I can see where I'm going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path."(v105).
